we're going to alaska next week. right before the winter, you ask? heck yeah, right before the winter. it's not like we get any snow in oregon. and it's not like you have to stay outside all day, either. in fact we could stay inside the cruise ship for the entire seven day period if we wanted to. we could swim in the pools, eat in the fancy-schmany restaurants that we could never afford were they landlocked, and hit the casinos with money we don't have. but then we couldn't go whale watching, salmon fishing or explore the unknown wilderness that is canada.
